Flipped a house I saw outside my backyard!!
About two years ago the wife and I were cooking outside on the grill when I noticed the house behind mine, well across my back yard had a bunch of crap in the yard and it looked vacant. I told the wife I am going to look that house up on the county website and see who owns it.
Once I looked it up, I seen it was in an estate so I sent one of my famous we buy house letters to the people on the deed representing the estate.
Anyways long story short I put an option the house to purchase it. With-in 2 days of calling all the local real estate investors and landlords I flipped the house-well the paper to a landlord I know. I made a $4k assignment in 2 days. never forget you don't have to go fare to do wholesale deals. Sometimes they are right in your own backyard!!!
All The Best,
