Quality of neighborhood map

I was wondering if there are any tools out there that map out the quality of housing in different areas - essentially a heat map of A, B, C, etc streets/neighborhoods.  I know generally where these are in my area, but if there were ways to explore pockets of say, "B" areas within a typically "C" neighborhood/town.

I know there are crime indexes and these I'm sure will correlate to what I'm looking for - but are there any other tools anyone can point me to?
