Help I paid a guru $40,000 and they stopped answering my call ( What ever happened to that lady?)

I remember a few months back someone  a guru 40k and than they stopped answering her calls? Are there no places that are a bit more reputable that can train an aspiring investor? I hear these stories way to much.
