Corner lot in a busy street?

Hi BP, I am looking into a property that was abandoned for a while and was just listed on the market. It's in a very nice neighborhood but it's in a corner lot on a Main Street. It clearly needs some rehab but what have your experiences been with a property that is on such a busy street?
