How Can Involved in Rental Properties with low money down?

Hi All!

Been away from BP because at my day job they basically block any site that does not deal with IT and their corporation :-)

So my fiancé and I want to start getting into rental properties, preferably multifamily homes. However, I am afraid that we would have to save about $30-$40K just to start even thinking about it.

My question is, can we start getting into investment properties with just say $1000 dollars?

What are the common gotchas and pitfalls with that?

@Tony Gonzalez I know @brandon

@Brandon Turner has a fantastic ebook on No and Low Money Down techniques. I highly recommend checking that out.
