"Occupied" Foreclosure

My wife and I are about to close on our first foreclosure on Thursday! No one is able to contact the previous owner! House has furniture still in it, power is on, and there's an alarm system! My attorney says that once we have deed in hand, everything is ours! Would any of you guys still store the personal belongings, maybe for a few months, just to see how this pans out? The contract does say " as is, where is"!

The attorney seems to think it is ok but I would double check the laws in your state. Whoever is/was living there has rights. I've listed many REO's like this and we always did a personal property eviction. It took about 30-40 days but we got a writ of possession from the sheriff. One time we didn't do it and we got sued and settled out of court.
