South Dallas/Ft Worth - Out of State Buy and Hold
Hello all! I'm looking for some insight on the DFW area.
I have been looking into turnkeys for the past few weeks. Most of the properties I've seen are in areas like Lancaster, Balch Springs, Seagoville, Grand Prairie, between Cedar Crest and I-20, west of Dallas Executive Airport, East Arlington, Southeast Arlington, Southeast Ft Worth, and North Richland Hills. These are SFRs priced in the $100K-$150K range with about a 1% rent to value ratio. However, after doing some research, I'm finding that alot of people think that the North Dallas suburbs are more desirable and might appreciate a little better then South Dallas. I don't doubt the properties I've seen will cash flow but I want to find something I can feel good about long term. Please give me your thoughts.
