Deal analysis in Canada
Hey all, does anyone know of a good deal analysis calculator for Canada? Even just an accurate rent estimator would be huge. Thanks in advance!
Quote from @Wayne Poisson:I think rent estimator is the harder part. Any deal analysis tool will work, you can just plug in the numbers. But you'll have to do some leg work for the rent. We don't have aggregation of rent and it depends on location. Rentfaster is good for Alberta but not Ontario or BC. You just have to find the one used in the local market.

Hi @Wayne Poisson I have a excel version of Don Campbell's analysis if you want. You can get it here or email me and I send it to you. https://www.cashproperty.ca/free/
As for the rent estimator, a google search for rental availablity will give you a good insight on the rates, as it depends on location, and condition of the units.
Good luck.
Hi @Huong Luu, thank you for sending the link! That’s very helpful.
And yeah, I’ve been using Google for rent estimations but it’s just not as good at identifying neighbourhood nuances like Bigger Pockets’ estimator
