Single-family residence buy & hold investment.
Purchase price: $287,500
Cash invested: $40,000
We originally purchased this property as a primary residence, so we only put 10% down on it, we lived in it for about 1.5 years. We found a great deal on a house on the saint lucie river/moved into that one.
So now this property is an airbnb/short term rental and we love it.
Airbnb gives us much greater control than a standard long term rental.
What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?
It was our first one, and long term wouldnt make sense for a single family home.
