Imroving your rentals over time.
My main goal with investing is buying below market and hopefully making a lot of money when I sell in 15-20 years through appreciation. With that in mind - does it make sense to improve the property over time to prepare it to look great by the time we sell.
Example - every time we have turn over, get in there and make an improvement such as new cabinets/nice landscaping.
So are continuoous imrpovements worth the investment ?

I'd wait until I was ready to sell before upgrading. I'd maintain over the years, but upgrade at the end.
You don't know what technology, materials and trends will be "in" 20 years from now. Upgrade too early and people will say it's outdated and needs to be rehabbed.
