Buying in the winter

How successful are you at finding and getting houses under contract during the winter? Whether that’s for wholesale or otherwise?

I find it tough since 1. People don’t want to move in the winter and 2. The out of state home owners are not interested in selling right now.

I definitely want to make deals all year long so tips during this time, especially in the Midwest, would be great!!
