I am new to RE and was wondering what is the best company to start out with. I want to learn as much as possible and am willing to do what it takes to be successful at RE. What company will provide best training?

you really need to just inteview, and talk with them again after you interviewed them all once. I just signed up with the brokerage that I said NO to right of the bat LOL...I just reached my license, and I now talk to the public about RE LOL it's not only about commission splits you will soon realize. It's the best fit for you, especailly if you have multiple branches of the same company.

You need to interview with them and ask how they train new agents. Usually it's the largest companies as they have trainers, it's thier only job to train the company way, what the market is, the how tos. Ask if they assign you to a seasoned agent, a mentor and if so, does it require a commission split, how much and for how long. While you may get more personal attention in a smaller office, attention doesn't equal training. Smaller offices have to make a living while they teach. Getting into a large company might be easier if you can let them know that you have personal contacts, they like to see, as does any company, that you know people to call on. Being willing and able to lear is great, but what they want to know is how many people do you know, how many you can approach as to any transaction. Large companies, well actually all, deal in numbers. If you know 100 people who own homes, they know half might be contacted. A third may be active in the next three years, that's 5.5 deals a year @ the average price of 170k @ 3% that's 5k+ in commission or 25K a year. If the split is 50/50 that's 12.5 k to the office so you are worth training. How do you think they pay the trainers? Starting off, I suggest you go big and interview them with what you can bring to the table! Good Luck!
