Hello I’m a landlord north of Minneapolis and not so crazy about this place anymore I’d like to have a vacation rental closer to my family around the myrtle beach area 29576 I hear is a good place to start. If there is anybody who is experienced in the area that sees a way we could both benefit let me know or if you just want to give me some direction and pointers for the area feel free I’m approved for another investment home 250k conventional right now.

Hi Matt, Mark is right about being in the condo realm. I just did a quick search and condos are the only thing available in the short-term rental zone in that range. He's also correct about the HOA fees. They can eat up your positive cash flow if you aren't careful. But don't let high HOA dues discourage you, often they can be a good deal depending on what the HOA offers.

Our family has several rental properties ranging from townhouse, to apartments, to second row condos. The condos are vacation rentals in Surfside Beach (29575), between Murrell's Inlet (29576) and Myrtle Beach and do quite well even though the HOA is about $500/month. I love in the area and would be happy to answer any question you have or to send you some listings to get you started.
