Looking to network in Edmonton

Chase Novotny
Posted

Good morning BiggerPockets. I’m brand new to the group as well as real estate investing. I’m born and raised in Edmonton Alberta area and am looking to network with people in my area and possibly find a Mentor. As of right now I’m just gathering as much information as I can and saving up as much as I can. What are some of your top books on real estate? How much did you save up before investing?

Hi Chase,

I'm from Calgary and a book I highly suggest is "Never Split the Difference" by Chris Voss. Not a real estate book per se, however its about the tactics of negotiating which you will be doing consistently in REI.
