Need recommendation finding quality contractors for rehab

I just bought a property that needs a lot of work.. including: rear deck needs to be torn down and new one put in, section of band and sill at foundation needs replacement, all new siding needed for whole house, all flooring need replacement, whole kitchen remodel, bathrooms remodel, kitchen need to be opened up to make it more open, and dry wall between two rooms to be opened up to make it more open

I'm looking at 40k-50k of work I think to get this whole thing completed, and who knows what else they find out while working on this..should I hire one GC to take care of the whole thing or hire multiple contractors off homeadvisor/thumbtack to do one task at a time? for example get a siding guy to replace the siding, a foundation guy to repair the band and sill..

I met with couple of GC, they all seem to want the whole project and do everything for me. However I'm fairly new to this business and would rather give the work to multiple people to work on in order to minimize the risk. My preference is to spread out the work to multiple contractors so I know I'm paying for. Is there a problem with this approach? Where do I go find quality contractors?
