Young investor opportunity in north AL!

Kevin Killen
Posted

Hi BP community,

My name is Kevin Killen. I am an aspiring investor hungry to learn and gain experience. I’ve gathered that to get a good partner, you need to bring something to the table. With little experience, I’d like to float an idea and see what the community thinks of my approach!

Partnership with a local investor in which I would grant them with a large percentage equity in a deal that they would “hold my hand” through. From teaching how to approach and work private money loans, closings, rehab and contractors, etc.

Speaking to those experts, would a deal in which you gain the vast majority equity in exchange for knowledge, no money in, and sparking someone’s career entice you?

Thanks everyone!

Assuming you have a local investor in mind, I would go into it more open as far as how it could be structured. Just explain that you are willing to work hard and do whatever he/she needs done. Then dedicate yourself to excellence, honor, and fairness to all, soaking up and seeking to understand while you work around this person, and keep educating yourself above all. I recommend "The Richest Man in Babylon", "Think and Grow Rich", and "Rich Dad Poor Dad" books if you haven't read them already.

Welcome to BP, Kevin!
