Hi All,

I issued a notice to quit to my first tenant and I believe I will need assistance from a local attorney for the eviction. Any recommendation will be greatly appreciated!

@Jeremy Mattson - if you google Milwaukee eviction service you will get a number of attorney's and falt fee services, usually around $350.

Fortunatley I can't give you any first hand experience, as in 11 years I never had a single eviction. Of course I had a few tenants, that just did not work out, but I usually opt for the cooperative approach. I basically tell them, look, we both can see this is not working out. I will help you to move out and on, if you help me getting the place rented and leaving it in decent shape. If necessary I will refund the entire deposit, even though there would be grounds for deductions. I never had to actually pay someone to move - aka cash for keys - however I am totally prepared to do that, if it get's me where I want to be faster and for less money.
