I have been reading a few articles lately that say there are some economist that they believe there will be a economic crash is 2020. How would something like this affect BRRR strategy?

Your tenant is affected and can't pay the rent, and you can't find anyone else to rent the place(s) unless you decrease the rent so low that it's taking money out of your pocket in order to not foreclose.  Or you can't rent the place at all and have to sell at a loss because the market crashed.  That's if you can sell it.  People lose it all, run on the banks and start eating one another.  Can't brrr if you're eaten.
