Multifamily in Norwich CT

Hey guys, I'm a new investor. Looking to get into multifamily Real Estate investing. I've been looking to move out for a while now and figured what better way to go than by starting with a multifamily and have rent pay my first mortgage. Is anyone here from Connecticut that knows if the Norwich area in New London County is worth investing in? Thanks in advance. I look forward to meeting and working with locals. I'm a young guy hoping to grow an impressive portfolio!

@Jarrad Horsley

I stay away from Norwich, but I am sure you could make it work.

Joe Simmons is on BP and he has rentals in Norwich. He is not a fan.

If you want to meet up and talk to some investors in the area, we are meeting on Sept 21 from 6 to 8 at the Groton Public Library in meeting room 4. It is free to attend and I am not trying to sell anything. We just hang out and talk about real estate investing.
