How NOT to network with experienced investors
I received this message this morning, sender shall remain nameless. I wanted to show newbies how NOT to try to connect with people. The sender, for some reason, just spouted off a bunch of things they were looking for. They didn't show interest in anything I am doing, they didn't reference a previous post of mine, and they obviously didn't even read my profile. I am experienced and willing to help most people, but not if they approach me like this:
"Hi John, I am looking to purchase SFR's or preferably Multi Families for investment properties as rentals. I am currently looking at low end major rehab properties. I am looking for contractors and property managers and possible financial partners. Thanks for your time."
