The Ultimate Location Question

If you were to invest into a small owner-occupied multi-family right now, where would it be located?

A little bit of the question background: I'm a recent college grad with a good job in IT that requires 100% travel so my "home" location doesn't matter.

Silicon Valley... rental demand is so high that people are renting out tents in their back yards for several 1000's a month. Now, you didn't specify goals. If you want a stable, upcoming and less-known area (for getting in ahead of the crowd), I'd say San Antonio. If you're a risk-taker looking for a potential big win, then:  Silicon Valley, Denver (cannabis legalization has Colorado real estate on fire, from what I understand), Miami, Brooklyn NY, and Austin.
