I'm volunteering with my local REIA (only about a year in existence) to help bring together our local investing community. There's only a few people in the area who are members of BP, so I'm looking for other ways to effectively reach out to all the other folks in the area.

What are some things you/your REIA/Meetup/Club/etc. have done to build up your local REI community?
