General Contractor Recommendation in Northern New Jersey?
Hi All. I'm looking to get into my first buy and hold property. From the wrecks I'm seeing on the market right now it looks like it might be a safer play to plan on a complete gut renovation then to expect a moderate fix-up and risk finding more extensive problems then initially estimated. Can anyone recommend a good General Contractor in Northern New Jersey?
(As an alternative what is the best way to find one? Is AngiesList.com any good?)
Thanks in advance,
Felix

hi @felix
I would ask for 3-4 price quotes on angieslist just to run the numbers.
I've just finished a renovation on one of my units with a general contractor named Mike. He is very reliable and putting a lot of effort to keep his good rank on angieslist.
Please let him know I gave him as a reference :)
Good luck
Lior
