Roofer recommendation in Jersey City

Hi guys,

Does anyone know of a good roofer in Jersey City? I bought a residential building recently with a flat roof, the roof is around 1400 sq ft. The roof is leaking so I'm planning to replace the roof. I found a few roofers online, showed them the roof and got a few quotes. The quotes I got were $6000, $13000, $18000 and $21000. It's really hard to select a roofer since the job can be very subjective. The main thing I'm concern about is the end result, something that will last for a few years and someone that will get the job done. At the same time, I'm not looking to get a luxurious roof which cost a lot more than is needed.

I'm wondering if anyone has any good advice on picking someone reliable? Maybe I should wait until the busy season is over in order to get a better price? Thanks.

Warren
