Hi Everyone! This is my first time posting on the BP platform. Excited to start this journey and would love to connect with y’all

I live in the DFW Area and its a nightmare here with very elevated prices for all properties. I am planning to buy my first rental property in a few months so want to ask what will be a good market to look into for my first deal.

Thank you for your help!

Good day Hasan,

All of the previous comments above are all valid points. Getting/finding the deals in today's seller's market is much more difficult than a few years ago. Since your new I also want to mention the importance of building your power team, the people you can trust to help you get a deal done "correctly" and it be a "DEAL". You have to have room in the numbers to account for the rehab cost regardless of whether you will flip, wholesale, or rent it. Additionally, and very critical to your success is finding "trustworthy and affordable" rehab contractors. Do your due diligence on them. You must know to deal with contractors, selecting the wrong one can be a killer to your success and you must have an understanding of what to rehab for a flip versus a rental. All of these topics are things you can learn by attending a variety of REIA groups in DFW, the West DFW REI Group is one of many. Start working on your power team today to help you thru your first deal when you find it. To Your Success!
