8 Unit BRRRR Week 7 update: The doors make all the difference

We are BRRRR'ing an 8 unit building in Hampton Roads region of VA, this one resides in the Ocean View Section of Norfolk. We are 7 weeks into our 8 unit rehab, for weeks 1-5 see https://www.biggerpockets.com/... and week 6 https://www.biggerpockets.com/...

Week 7 brought some more nice weather here in Virginia, had to make a choice between Virginia Beach and working.....

First up we took advantage of the sun and had the parking lot re-sealed and striped.

We also got the tile in APT 77 grouted in

Next up was the exterior doors, the previous doors were outswing doors that they installed backwards to make inswing, when opened they would block the entrance to the first floor apartments.  They were 6 panels and had seen much better days.  We opted for actual outswing 15 light doors that we had made locally.  They look great and allow much more light into the hallways.

Jen tackled sanding and painting the hall ways hall way 2 is complete with hallway 1 not far behind, all that's left is stair treads.

Bathroom in Apt 22 came together with installation of the vanity and fixtures.

Some odds and ends also got completed, door hardware, exterior electrical patching some holes and paint and the lawn guy found the rest of the sidewalk

That's it for Week 7 so far we are on track and on budget, stay tuned....
