I found something but can’t get agent to set up showing
I found a house on the MLS that I would like to make an offer for.
It’s a really beat up house. However, the agent hasn’t been very responsive. I asked to see the house and that I am pre approved. He replied with I will try to get you a showing but the tenant is not being cooperative.
What can I do to get this deal? Should I tell him I could make a cash offer as well?
Surrounding comps for a 3/2 seems to be around 480k
The house is listed at 409k.
The house needs ALOT of work. From the pictures I definitely need to replace roof, you can see the water damage in ceilings, replace walls, bathrooms, kitchens, floors etc.
I am estimating it would cost 70k-80k to renovate.
I’m thinking about making a 300k offer. That will get me 0 money in the deal after refi and cashflow about $200-300 a month. What do you guys think?

Get your own agent, and have your agent book an appointment to view the house.
