Creative Financing for BRRRR

Hey guys!

I just finished reading David Greene’s book Buy, Rehab, Rent, Refinance, Repeat , and it has opened my perception to a whole new world of possibilities. I’m looking further my RE education while saving up enough cash to invest in some property in and around the metro-Atlanta area. However, saving this much could take awhile.

My question to you, is what creative ways have you raised capital to invest using BRRRR? Partnerships, private money, all cash savings, house hacking?

Let me know the details! I’m hungry to hear about your experiences!

@Cole Brown when I started down this journey, albeit unknowingly, my main goal was to have my own home paid for. So i bought land for 36k and built all of our houses, barns for business, wifes shop, dog kennel for my wifes business, with my own hands/cash/time.

Earlier this year I approached a customer about his wealth and doing work for him at no charge in exchange for knowledge. He accepted (and still paid!). Turns out going the way I did initially with the building had put quite a lot of equity in my pocket. So i opened up lines of credit and began the search. Soon I had a property and was renting... off to the races.

In short, my financing came from an action that I wasnt pursuing as an avenue for financjng... it had never occurred to me.
