Adding value (equity) to you home...
I am in the Huntsville, AL area and looking to buy a SFH. My plan is to buy a home needing mostly cosmetic repairs/updates and getting it reappraised. My hope is to get a higher number that what I pay so that I can pull that out and buy another property. Can anyone give me advice on what I should be looking for? Best way to go about this? Lending?

@Latavia Banks Are you making this property your primary residence? Or is this just an investment property? If this is going to be your primary I would suggest take advantage of the benefits of owner occupant for a multi-family (distressed-ish) property, doing some value you add while living there, generate income then do it again!
