BRRRR Investments in Austin.

Hi, All. I want to start investing in BRRRR. I know that the first step is very important because I have already read the book.

So I would like to get some help from people who are actually investing.

I am aiming for a single family home or multi family home and I am constantly looking at properties around Austin TX.

I am looking north of Austin to Dallas and south of Austin to San Antonio.

However, Austin is not easy to find an investment property that generates cash flow considering the cost of rehab.

Can you give me some advice on my first investment?

Hey Keonhee -

Austin can tough market for cash flow, but areas between Austin and San Antonio or up toward Dallas might be worth looking into. Focus on neighborhoods with strong rental demand and growth potential.

Also, make sure your numbers work—factor in all costs, including rehab and holding expenses, to stay under 70% of ARV. I suggest starting with a smaller single family property, and build from there. A good team (agent, contractor, lender) is also going to be key. Good luck and happy to connect!
