Pool Rental Property - Liability and Insurance concerns

I just bought my first rental property, and it came with a pool that needs some repairs that could be fixed. I’ve heard there can be liability issues with having a pool at rental property, and that insurance companies don’t cover rentals with a pool. Has anyone dealt with this before? Removed a pool it will cost a lot of money also.
I’d appreciate any advice or information on how to handle the situation. Thanks

Have you tried to get insurance yet and had an issue or just heard it would be an issue?  Work with a knowledgeable independent agent.
