Flooring for long term rental
Hello my name is Brendan. I just acquired my first property. The house is a older house, that is not located in the greatest area. After demoing and removing all of the carpet I found some decent hardwood flooring. My question is should I refinish the hard wood floor or put some nice vinyl flooring? There is hard wood flooring throughout the entire house biggest concern was. Tenants moving in and out and damaging the floor. That would cause myself to redo the floors. Hopefully someone has ran into this before glad to hear everyone’s opinion and thoughts.
Thank you for sharing your experience!

No way on LVP! If you have real wood there (probably oak) you need to refinish it and enjoy the benefits. Everyone loves real wood floors. You can probably even get higher rents....
LVP sucks, you can spot it a mile away. It says cheap like nothing else...
