Coastal hunting leases - bear, deer
I'm posting to see if anyone has leased land for game hunting. I'd like to share notes on setting up and running hunting operations. I can share what I know about timber tracts and/or NC residential (apartments/SF) investing. The timber tract parcels I would put in hunting programs are in Washington and Tyrell counties for deer and bear and Columbus county for deer. Parcels are 80 to 110 acres, some already with shooting lanes and blinds but no other major site improvements or cabins.

I believe you already have the term down. That's just called an engineered system in my circles.
I've had to put one in before. And an innovative system.
I cut my teeth in this business in rural land development. It's been a few years since I was putting in septics on any sort of regular basis so my contacts or 'ins' may have aged out by now. But just PM me if you want my soil scientist out of Smithfield or my septic installer/consultant out of Oxford. He's been around literally forever and knows all the county environmental people. So whenever he tells them 'this will work', I've seen the county basically rubber stamp it 9 times out of 10.
