Free CRM tips or tricks

I'm just getting started and quickly realize that I have too many things going on at the same time.  Does anyone have any tips for managing leads with MS Outlook, excel or Trello?  I love Trello but find that it doesn't give me daily reminders on what to do on what days.  Any suggestions are appreciated.
