Is anyone out here in BP world skilled in the art of SEO for websites?  I have a few questions and would like someone to help clarify a few things for me regarding website page rankings.

@Curt Davis

Here are a few things off the top of my head.

Make sure links to you have the keywords in the  anchor text to your site. In other words the link may go to Curt.com but what people see the link say is Memphis houses.

Make sure you have links to pages other than your home page (deep linking)

Go to the Google Keywords tool to look for keywords you can rank high on.

Use appropriate internal links within your site with keywords as anchor text.

Use headers formatting with your keywords Ex:

Here is why Memphis houses are great

Use your keywords in your meta data

Write quality copy.

This is basic stuff, a good SEO guy could probably give you a lot more tips.

There are websites that will analyze your site. Website grader was one. I don't know if it is still active and free.
