Trying to learn Yardi

Account Closed
Posted

Hey everyone! I am trying to get into Property Management and the job postings all say Yardi knowledge. Does anyone know of a way to get Yardi training without being employed at a place first? I have searched on google and not having much luck. Thanks so much :)

There is no way to learn Yardi without having the actual program.

Yardi is the least user friendly program I've used.  Entrata is more straight forward.

Focus more on learning fair housing, and about rental rules and organizational skills.  They will train the right person.  And trust me, most people in the office will be using it to the bare minimum.

Yardi is one of the best PM software with a heavy accounting module but you are right, it isn't really user friendly. Once you know it, it is amazing.
