What is the best software regarding property management

Hello everyone,

I am currently interning at a property management company, and we use Rent manager as our software. When I first started this summer, I thought the system seemed a bit dated compared to software being created in today's world. However, the more I used the system, there appeared to be a lot of bugs and inefficiencies that made the whole process much harder than needed. This meant we would Invoice out possibly a week after receiving all the required materials. I'm curious as to what everyone thinks about Rent Manager. Is it one of the best for property management? have others moved away from this software to something else? What is the best or most efficient software used to date?

Thanks,

@Austin Both have some experience with rent manager and was not impressed.

Have also used building and it's a good software for small mom and pop shops.

At folios pretty good but offers zero customization and they don't offer an API interface.

We use Propertyware. We have over a thousand custom fields, custom reports, custom reports tied into the custom fields, etc. They're in the middle of releasing a new API interface for more flexibility. It's far from perfect and it isn't always intuitive, but it's the best we've seen so far.
