It’s terrible. I️ just finished watching a commercial where people are hyped off of a free seminar and talking about retiring in one year after wholesaling and doing deal after deal like its cake. First time seeing a “guru” commercial. Seems crazy these people can go out and sell nonsense like this.

@Angela Shepard, please be careful. If you have 28k to invest in Guru training, please don't. Use that for your own investing. You can learn everything you need here on BP, local Real Estate Meetup groups and several books. Listen to the BP podcasts, I downloaded them to a "usb thumb drive" to listen to when I'm driving. Also, many of the podcasts have the "transcripts" that you can review for better learning. Everything is free with the exception of buying books; you probably can rent out several from the local library for free!

Another suggestion would be if you live near a local college that offers business classes seek out an Investing or Real Estate class. By taking classes locally it's also a great way to network with others learning the business. Or take the Real Estate license class in your state; you'll learn the basics there.

Over 26 years ago, I attended a 3-day Guru workshop and ended up not doing anything with it because the support wasn't there. The other people that attended were from great distances from where I lived (so I never networked with anyone); felt isolated. This was before the internet! The only thing I got out of it was some debt on credit cards, Guru books, VHS Videos and Cassette audio tapes along with frustration, disappointed in myself, and gave up, the only thing I did get out of it was my interest in Real Estate but didn't do anything for another 24 years!

So in 2019, this is my time to do it! It's now or never for me. In January I got my real estate license, joined a few real estate meetup groups and following and doing everything BP has to offer!

Good Luck!
