I second Brian's opinion of the ABC's by Ken McElroy. It's read by Garret Sutton who does a really good job. The book does an excellent job of stepping through all the nuances of getting started. Speaking of Sutton, he also has several books worth a listen, such as Start Your Own Corporation and Loopholes of Real Estate.
