Anyone else get coerced into the FB coaching & manage to get their money back?

Hi,

I don't want to start any discussion about the legitimacy of this training/coaching school and business. I am ashamed that I attended the FB seminars during the pandemic, as I was unemployed and desperate to find a new job. It was the perfect storm of timing and circumstance.

Bottom line is, it was a huge investment. They convinced me on the spot to open an AMEX and charge entire curriculum to it. I wasn't given any other options such as financing, etc. I was a flight attendant that was laid off and we thought aviation was basically ending at this time and that I needed to find a new career but then I resumed work after the pandemic, so I put the whole program on pause as I went back to flying.

Recently, I read about the FTC suing a similar company for these high-pressure sign up environments and something about the financing. So that made me want to see if I could refund my investment, because I would rather invest that in a down payment or something else at this point.

Look, I'm sure if you follow their program and coaching you make back your investment. I like the company and I don't want to start a debate about gurus, but now that I haven't used the program, and I'm finding out that other financing options were available, I feel a bit like I was coerced, pressured, and not given all available options, so in that regard, I find it really unfair and manipulative. I am ashamed to admit but I definitely fell for the sales pitch and feel it was like a timeshare presentation, selling you a dream, not a reality.

I am a flight attendant and really not interested in trying to rehab homes. I was just desperate. If I can't get my money back, I will take the course and coaching to try and see what I can make happen, but I'm just wondering if anyone else on this forum had any interaction with this company and/or managed to their money back, or used a lawyer to do so?

Please don't be mean, this is my first post. I'm aware of what I fell for and that's on me, but I'm just wondering if anyone has been able to get their money back due to the misleading signup practices ...

Thanks...
