Do Not Fall For The Training FOMO Trap

Good morning all.

I saw a post by another investor joking about the economic data and guru training and it got me thinking and wanting to post this for anyone new.

There is going to be a lot of FOMO posts and ads online about the real estate crash and getting into real estate and it will be followed by some low cost informational session followed by some very high priced training.

My word of advice is before spending significant dollars on any training - due your due diligence on the guru and to speak to some of their successful students.

While definitely not opposed to people Paying to educate themselves, the vast majority of training programs out there are very high level and the info can be found on BP or YouTube.

Personally I would recommend the best time to pay for education if you are going to pay for it is after you have the foundational pieces down so you can ask relevant questions and know what information taught is more important than other pieces of information.

Just my 2 cents- curious what others think

my position on paid training is:

Need to be able to pay cash for it not put it on your CC

Need to be able to actually partake in what your training for  IE have capacity to transact.

Real estate in most forms is capital / credit intense with neither of these things in MOST markets its is very rare that the I have no money and no credit individual can succeed.
