Where is everyone finding deals?

Hello Canadian BP members,

wanted to start a thread to see where everyone is finding deals these days. Ive been combing the MLS religiously and only come across a decent deal once in a blue moon. Wanted to know if anyone is having better success with cold calling, direct mail marketing, driving for dollars ect..

Hey Nick!

I have had some great success investing in Atlantic Canada for the past few years. The market is super hot and is getting tougher to find deals that work, but they are out there. I have a few agents with connections that bring me pocket listings from time to time. I believe that the best way to find deals is to leverage your connections to realtors, property managers and fellow investors. I just purchased a pocket listing this year that my property manager brought to me, then because I was able to close on it, the listing realtor started sending me deals as well. 

Never let an introduction to someone new go to waste!
