Accredited Investors in Wisconsin (or beyond)

We're looking to a variety of multi-rate projects/developments (anywhere between 30-250 units) in the next coming months and years. One thing I've been trying to locate is great places to prospect accredited investors. Any advice for the greater Milwaukee area (or honestly, quite anywhere) that you've found to look at? We have a vast portfolio, proven national track record since 2004, and are easy to work with. I'm not worried about being able to get some things going once we find accredited investors, it's just a complex step. We just began this process and have done all of the regulars (joined REIA and a lot of other networking functions) Preferably we're looking for private equity financing but flexible to talk about whatever.

Anyone have any suggestions of places to network? Or if this sounds like something you or someone you know perhaps could be interested in, please contact me privately.

Thanks

Benjamin Holt , raising capitals from investors is a complex process which involves securities law.

There are seminars offered on the topic which I recommend.

You may also want to look up public soliciting, which is not allowed by the SEC as what are are offering is considered a security.
