Foreign newbie who got the bug
Hi, I got the bug of real estate investment 1.5 month ago. Since then I am not only trying to get as much educated as I can but also to try and understand the American market and how to determine in what sub-market to invest.
I was born in Germany and am living for the past 21 years in Israel. I have both citizenship's. My wife and I own a SFH clean from any loan. Investing in Israel is not for us as the rates for everything are very high. Someone already advised me to refinance our current home but I m not sure if getting a local mortgage, buying a few SFH in the States would be smart as I would be depending on the currency rate as well.
Can anyone advice me if it is possible to get a mortgage in the States as a German or Israeli citizen and if it would be financially wise?
Thanks in advance to any reply
