What DOESNT work in finding wholesale deals in SLC?
New to the game and im trying to get my first deal under contract but im getting a bit discouraged! Ive been strictly cold calling as i dont have the capital for mail, but I've had so many people tell me they get multiple calls every single day, and that they will never be interested. How can a newbie compete in this market?

Hi Isiah, Welcome! It's tough out there that's for sure.
I have to say, I'm quite new myself to wholesaling and mainly do outbound cold calling as well. My market is Los Angeles yet I haven't had too many people telling me they get hammered with calls. Or even when I door knock most of the homeowners are shocked that I'm coming by. I think we just like to focus on the negatives even if it's not all that bad. This is a numbers game and you have to funnel everything in. I heard a podcast recently of a guy in Phoenix having to cold call 4500 numbers and knocked on 1200 doors to get his first deal. It took him 5 months. Stay rooted in your WHY and be consistent with it. I hope to see you around in a few months!!
