Just left my job sooner than I was planning, what should I do now

Today, I left my job landscaping after 3 full summers and last winter of being employed there.  I thought I had a couple months to figure some of this stuff out, but some things just happen.  I'm only 22, which I know is one of my only strong points right now.  I've been talking with my banker(who is also an investor) at my credit union, they underwrite all their loans so a lot of things are easier with them.

I asked him a few simple questions about how long do I need to be employed year round for me to qualify for a loan he obviously said 2 years from the time you start full time for year round, which for me was April 2015. So as you can tell I'm about 6 months short of that, he did tell me that if I got a job in a similar field and continued to work there for another 6 months+, he would most likely be able to push it through. He also advised me I should pursue a job in the real estate industry if I really want to ultimately do it full time, which I do. I asked him if working for a property management company would be considered the same as landscaping maintenance & he said that they would most likely consider that as something in the same field. I also have a job at a VA mortgage company that I could take, I worked there in the past for 7 months during the winter.

What should I do?!  I'm at a crossroads right now, and need all the suggestions I can get.  I want to look back at this day as a turning point in my life, for the better.  Because I felt so stuck in my old job, never being able to get ahead.  I want to turn this somewhat negative situation into the best thing that could have ever happened to me  in the long run.  Any help, tips, or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!
