I’m moving to Geneva soon to start my MBA program and I’m interested in buying a property in the Geneva area. I’m looking for anyone knowledgeable on the process and willing to chat with a bright-eyed American dreamer that wants to live there eventually long term. Thanks in advance!

Switzerland has lots of restrictions on foreigners buying property.  You probably need to find a great agent there to advise you.   From what I remember it is mostly restricted to permanent residents and resort areas, but there may be some other options as well.
