The areas just around Tesla are a mix of fairly lower-income neighborhoods, scrubby land, mixed with affordable brand new construction. Price will dictate everything for the eventual employees. I predict most will live within 30 minutes of the plant, but spread out between Austin and all the suburbs on that side of the metro.
