Looking for good real estate agent
Hi,
We are looking for good agent in Austin area who can assist us buying a primary residence. We worked with couple of Agents but looks like they are working with multiple clients at the same time can’t focus on what we are looking for. What’s the main criteria when you select an agent as a buyer? Some agents require you to sign a contract before they start working with you. Let me know if any of you did that and how did it go.

@Geeta Sharma a productive agent should have multiple clients, I'd be nervous if my agent didn't have much business because that probably means they're very new or aren't any good. I don't have people sign a contract right away but do when we start making offers because legally with agency laws in Texas I can't advise people on negotiations or terms if they are a customer. You become a client when you enter into an agency agreement with an agent.
