Giving up on Denver and heading to Austin

I’ve been trying for months to get my first home and have decided to head to Texas. We’re looking at Austin and I know the market is quite competitive as well but the homes there seem to be at least liveable vs run down shoeboxes in Denver.

Planning on getting my Texas real estate license—anyone have some good pointers??

Replied

I thought this was a joke, but I think it isn't!  @Kayla Givens, a question for kicks . . . if you are willing to move why not move to a more strategic-for-investing real estate market?  Unless the real estate has no bearing on your decision to move, it would seem like Denver to Austin is a wash and your frustrations from Denver are likely to be directly repeated.

Are you open to investing in a market you don't live in?  Are you open to house-hacking?
